Saving energy is a must as prices go up. It also helps our environment. Not all solar power attic fans are built the same. Let’s face it not all houses are made the same. In fact, the landscaping that goes around the houses we’re not all the same. Some houses are placed in places where the other house or buildings, block the sun. Or around a bunch of trees that block the sun from the house. Attic fans only run when the sun can shine on the panel.

Sun Block
If you have a house it is blocked from the sun to where you cannot operate a regular mounted solar power attic fan. You still get the radiant heat up in your attic can you still get moisture in the attic which is not good for the structure of your house. So even though your house is kinda blocked or three-quarters blocked from the sun you still need a solar power attic fan to reduce the radiant heat inside of your attic to protect your attic from moisture buildup which causes fungi and mold which will damage your roof and structure of your house. Moisture buildup is very dangerous it can add up to thousands of dollars in repairs.

Solution
In order to combat this issue, we have designed a solar fan that has a remote solar panel or an adjustable solar panel. This helps with maximizing the sun so the attic fan can work more efficiently.
Some Solar power Attic Fan is designed with an exclusive adjustable bracket allowing the solar panel to be positioned at various angles for optimal solar exposure. This adjustable solar panel bracket system maximizes the sun exposure on the solar panel no matter if the unit is installed on a flat, standard pitch, or sloop roof.
Some solar attic fans have a remote solar panel that is installed away from the attic fan housing. It is used on applications where there is limited sunshine available to the installed unit. The remote panel is installed in a sunny area. The solar fan can capture the maximum amount of sunlight and therefore achieve optimal attic fan performance.
Shape Provides Maximum Airflow
The Solar power Attic Fan was precision-engineered to minimize obstructions in the fan housing to increase airflow. It incorporates an angled throat to facilitate a Venturi or suction effect which increases cfm output and also reduces wear on the motor. The panels are designed with the power of the sun, to run the motor. Most of the attics are not ventilated well so it is important to get the best attic fan for your home.

Solar panel Performance
As a general rule, when a solar panel heats up, it becomes less efficient at converting light into energy. To combat this fact, we mount the solar panel in a raised position. Raising the panel off of the housing reduces heat build-up and provides increased air circulation resulting in better performance. The solar panel mounting bracket allows for an envelope of cool air to continually circulate around the entire solar panel.
Key Design Advantages:
Adjustable solar panel
Raised solar panel
Powder-coated inside/out
Shape maximizes airflow
Remote panel
FAQ
What are the 2 main disadvantages to solar energy?
On cloudy days it will run sometimes.
Is solar power good energy?
What are the pros and cons of solar power attic fans?
They only run when the sun powers the unit.
Pros
Solar Attic Fans will keep the temperature down in the attic.
Less radiant heat build-up in your attic insulation, the cooler your home will be. Cool insulation means a cooler home. The heat from the insulation will travel down into your living space. That’s why you need to cool off the attic.
